Review on Weather Resistant Ping Pong Paddle - STIGA Flow Outdoor Table Tennis Racket by Dino Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good all-weather racket

This is a good table tennis racket for both indoor and outdoor use. It is made of thermoplastic for the handle and polypropylene & glass fibers for the blade. The durable materials are weather-resistant and would seem to last a long time. The racket certainly surprised me with its weight and price. It's heavier than the wooden rackets I have used before, and the materials and construction look cheap. Nevertheless, it's quite balanced and performs well enough. The blade is hallowed out like a single wall corrugated board. There are hollowed out slots along the edge of the blade. I wouldn't leave it out in the open when not in use. Otherwise, these slots may make a good home for a spider or two, and give you a real surprise. Also, the surface of the blade has vein like patterns all over the material. The surface doesn't seem to come off anytime soon nor does it affect game play at all. They may just be a by-product of the manufacturing process. Overall, it's a good indoor/outdoor table tennis/ping-pong racket. The materials may look cheap but they are actually quite heavy and durable. The list price is expensive for what it is. If you can get it for under $20, go for it.

Pros
  • Super nice grip.
Cons
  • The rubber on the paddle can become sticky in high humidity
