The best way to fasten a tie to a shirt so the tie bar isn't showing

First, all edges are smooth, nothing snags or tugs on the threads of a silk tie. you expect. I like the clean look of just the tie, but I don't want to deal with the tie flying all over the place. I have another device that I usually use that keeps track of the back of the wide end (the part you thread the end of the tie through after the tie is tied) on your shirt. My problem is that sometimes I don't have time to tie my tie at home and I do it when I get to the office. But I am forgetful and often leave my device at home. I would buy another one but they don't make it anymore (a real shame). Eventually I found I could clip the end of my tied tie to a poster on my shirt with a paper clip. Since the end of the tie goes through this piece on the back of the wide end, the whole tie is held in place on my shirt and doesn't dangle. But since the paperclip has sharp edges (and just looks ugly if ever seen under a tie), I needed an alternative solution. Then I remembered the old-fashioned tie. An item I've never used because it squeezes your tie too tight and risks permanently denting or pulling the threads. But none of that is a problem if you wear it under the main band and just around the tail after passing it through the loop at the bottom of the wide end. The problem is solved! Also, I really think this is the best solution. Sometimes I ended up with the loop at the bottom of the wide end falling off or being too close to the button after it was tied. This rendered my other device useless, which would force me to retie my tie even if the end was in the right place. This is no longer a problem as I can tie a tie around each part of the ponytail below the bow at the wide end. And since ties are ubiquitous in menswear, I never have to worry about them being phased out. Game set victory!
