Somebody knew what the hell they were doing when they made them. You can remove eye makeup and face makeup and clean your face with it. One side is smooth and the other is peeling. It doesn't burn or hurt my eyes but will still be gentle in that area. Ouch. and not to mention traveling with them. They are ideal to take with you on trips without fear of the bag opening and getting wet. They come pre-folded and dry, so you can soak them in lukewarm water, lather them up and easily wipe your makeup off. Or you can just use it to cleanse your skin.
