I ordered a black size 2-3 years for my one and a half year old. Thought they would fit on the smaller side as they ship from China. But they are actually big for my baby. I had to roll up the hem because the shorts are too long. So I think they are true. They are sweet. For them, they look like a subtle material reminiscent of soft jeans. Arrived earlier than expected. Good for the price.
