This laptop and my previous one are like night and day. The download process is fast. Even if it syncs to Google Drive, starts Discord and Steam and who knows what else. . . it happens fast. The boot process on my old laptop took 2 to 5 minutes. And the sync/start after logging in, well I just went into the shower and hoped it would be ready when I got dressed. I like that my day doesn't start with longing anymore. I chose this model precisely because of the extended keyboard. I like that the numeric keypad has been moved to the side. It becomes easier for me when I do certain jobs. The LED keyboard is reassuring. I didn't change the settings as they were. I love the sharpness of the images and the REAL colors (also a problem on my old laptop). Calm. I mean very quietly. I do videotaping, live broadcasting and a lot of other "office" stuff. I don't do video editing anymore so I don't know if that will be a problem but I don't think it will be. I played several games and my son played Fortnite. That's when the fan really kicked in and I was shocked at first how loud it was. At the same time, the laptop worked perfectly during the game. No delay. And we played with a VPN in a hotel WiFi without an external booster. I was shocked. I'm thinking of buying another one for my son when we travel so he can play along the way.
