Disclaimer: I'm not a professional vlogger or videographer but I like high quality videos of my kids, a good time on the boat or just a high quality device so I decided to give one Try Feiyu Pocket Camera. I bought the camera and Feiyu Cam app from the App Store and connected them via Wi-Fi (a bit unusual as I used Bluetooth before). My first observations are good, the camera and the app are quite functional. You can control the camera entirely from your phone, which is way easier than a tiny screen! The video quality is good, which is crucial for this size, and the stabilization works great while I was filming on a fast-moving boat, as you can see in the unboxing and sample video. Pros: * Holster: Surprisingly useful! I usually take good care of my gear, but to carry it, I still put it in my bag and toss it there without hesitation while it's in a plastic holster.* Size: Plus and Minus! Very small and handy camera, easy to hold in hand. On the other hand, the screen is almost invisible. This can be fixed if you connect to your phone via Feiyu Cam app and want to use it as an external screen.* The usual modes are available: photo, video, slow motion, time lapse, panorama. The time-lapse and pano modes are awesome and you don't have to be a pro to use them. You can create amazing videos without being technical!* 360 degree rotation in all follow mode allows you to use the camera in any situation* 8x slow motion video: I love the fact that I can , but I don't know how I'm going to use this feature.* USB-C charging port: Finally!* Wide field of view: I love the fact that it captures quite a large area in selfie mode* Neutral color profile available for videos, which can be colorized later in production.* The battery life is great! Cons: * I like the hardware button for switching modes, but unfortunately I can't change tracking modes while recording * Unfortunately, no input for an external microphone as the built-in microphone is not very good. * You need to buy an external mini tripod for slow motion or panorama modes. Other Feiyu gimbals included it, but not this one. Conclusion: If you don't want to carry your cell phone with a large gimbal, this small camera offers everything you need on the go. The pocket size is small and portable, the quality is excellent but don't expect too much sound when filming concerts or events. I am satisfied with the purchase and look forward to using it in different life situations.
