I bought this mat for a house in front of a sliding glass door. We have two dogs, a toddler 6 months old and a cat. Plus a husband who doesn't know how to take off his shoes until he's taken care of everything around the house. All in all I love this rug. It really reduces the amount of dirt, leaves, little rock and water that gets onto the hardwood floors, I've vacuumed it a few times and it still stays whole and fluffy. I also love the design. I will soon be buying the largest size for the outside garage door and another medium size for the front door because I love them so much.
