This little Sony is a great personal recorder. It's very compact and lightweight. The controls are simple and intuitive. The battery is charged via USB, the charge holds very well. The sound quality during playback is very good. The built-in microphone works very well even when the recorder is in a shirt or coat pocket. With the addition of a plug-in lavalier mic, the sound is near perfect. I find this recorder perfect for rehearsing presentations. It's also great for recording meetings, speeches, etc. To me, it's a great combination of features, ease of use, quality, and price. I highly recommend it.
