I had very high hopes for this product. I've been using the setup for 2 weeks now with Sonance architectural speakers and 2 Klipsh aw650 bricks. The device is designed to connect up to 6 speakers, but there are only two outputs. This causes a problem with speaker balancing and speaker matching. In my case, the stones can give more bass than the sailor, so I have to reduce the power of the stones. If you want to connect 2-6 identical speakers without fine-tuning them one by one, this amplifier will do. This also works if you only want to connect 2 very powerful speakers. For example I tested 2 top quality speakers from another zone and they were very clear at high volumes. Actually too strong for the area. If your budget isn't an issue, you'll love this. If the budget is tight and you don't need extremely high power, use an amplifier to connect. PS: This amp can also add audio delay when connected to TV audio, which I don't think other amps support. The sound from Per Sonos TV puts the most strain on the Sonos network.
