I have never used a safety razor. I mean… I used to play with my grannies when I was younger but I really hurt myself doing it. Rschunimagu. My regular razor is from Billy. I like the 5 blade system. Before that, I used a Gillette six-blade razor. So this razor has given me a shave on par with my regular brand. It was very easy (gentle) to put the blade back in place and once in it looks like a regular single blade razor. The handle is a bit short for my liking, but it's a good weight so I was able to keep it steady with my arthritis and nerve issues. That in itself is a wonderful aspect of this product. He is strong and stable. I cut myself at first but soon realized I was pushing too hard and that I didn't need it at all. I just let the razor do the work for me. I glided it over my skin and was shocked that after one swipe there was no stubble left on my skin. After shaving my legs, I decided to just jump in and shave my lower body as well. Soft as silk! Serious. I am amazed at the lightness and simplicity of this safety razor. I highly recommend this, especially if you are a beginner. It looks great on the counter and isn't as scary as I thought it would be!
