Review on Ambir ImageScan DS820Ix AS High Speed Automatic by Jesse Runninger

I've waited about a month to write a review. I love this scanner! It's fast, scans both sides of the paper and supports TWAIN. This is perfect for my needs. The footprint is small so it fits nicely next to my monitor. The scanning software is easy to use and offers multiple customization options. You can also create your own settings. It took several calls to Ambir to set up, but after that the scanner worked flawlessly. You should be aware that the scanner will turn off quickly to save power, so it needs to be turned on manually before attempting to scan. Before using the TWAIN function, I need to make sure the scanner is not idle. DOWN It looks like it can't handle the paper stack. Often jams, requiring you to feed multiple sheets at once.
