I've seen the ads, heard the hype but didn't believe the comb could meet all of these requirements. Oh boy I was wrong. My old flat brush broke and they were on sale so I figured why not? Anyway, I was looking for an open-backed comb... just in case I start blow-drying my hair again sometime in the future (thank you 2020 for dusting my hair-dryer from not using it). The curved shape of the brush head makes it feel like I'm massaging my scalp. The bristles, which at first seemed too thin, combed my long, thick hair perfectly with almost no pull on the scalp and untangled any tangles. How about flexible hair on my damp hair? I think I heard the angels sing! I haven't brushed wet hair since I was a little girl (I still have nightmares about it being pulled, growled, tugged and tangled). This brush went through my wet hair like a hot knife through butter without pulling half my hair out. Oh, and it actually did the job of cleaning. I was shocked! Now I will praise my hairbrush to anyone who will listen.
