Review on Spectra Premium 93045 Heater Core by George Utley

I purchased this heater core to replace my original unit in my 2003 4 door Ford Explorer XLS 4.0 liter engine and transmission. My original unit was still fine, but I needed to replace the A/C evaporator core and decided to replace that part at the same time. Subsequent replacement of this part is a major challenge. The part is installed as an original OEM device and works perfectly. Hope it lasts as long as the original. I will update my review if it breaks prematurely. The connections to the engine compartment heater hoses remained original. Part made in China. However, my experience with OEM Ford parts is that most of these are now made in China as well. So why pay a higher price at Ford? I would buy from this seller again. The part looked well made.
