I'm not sure why Anjee advertises these curtains for "little kids bedroom", but they are suitable for any room in the house. We have a sitting room that only had sheer curtains on the window. We got these curtains for that window. They frame the window really nicely and, when closed, block out a lot of the light coming in to the room. This keeps the room much cooler in the afternoons.The curtains were very affordable and made with 100% polyester. I like the Navy blue color especially well. The 52" wide width is not quite wide enough for the window we put them over, but we did not plan to use these as blackout curtains. If you are going to use these curtains as blackout curtains, you might want two per side rather than just one on either side. I suspect if I had two curtains on either side, they would black out 95% or more of the light coming through. A tip: Allow for extra width so that the curtains still have plenty of surface area around the sides to prevent light from creeping through.When I pulled them out of the packaging, I expected to have to hang them and then use a steamer to take out wrinkles, but they unfolded really nicely and did not need to be steamed.
