Nice in theory. Assembling isn't that bad. Attractive. BUT I don't think they will stand up to heavy use. One reviewer said he glued popsicles where you grab them to pull the boxes out, and I think I'll do the same because it's the most fragile part of the box in a spot where it needs to be strongest. My biggest disappointment is that despite the window, you can't see what's inside. I probably should have found that out before buying - in hindsight I should have bought clear acrylic or plastic but I was trying not to contribute to more plastic in the world. Having the shoes in their original shoe boxes was more helpful because I could see the style and color on the outside with the picture, but I wanted consistency and an attractive look. Well, live and learn.
