Works great, lifts laptop
My laptops (both Windows and Mac) get very hot in the PSU area. Even with the fan on it was very hot. When these guys offer 1 inch of lift, airflow lowers that temperature to the point where the fan rarely needs to run. Remember that a hot laptop is intentionally slowed down (faster = hotter). This allows laptops to run warmer and faster, while cooler temperatures reduce the likelihood of component failures due to thermal stress.
