Arrived on time, well packaged and works well on my Kindle 8 7th Gen tablet. The old digitizer was difficult to remove but luckily I had a heat gun. I've seen several videos describing how difficult it was to get the wires and board through the slot to attach the chip to the board. All I had to do was remove the 4 screws from the circuit board and remove the camera and then CAREFULLY remove it from the black inner panel. Then I carefully inserted the chip and wires slightly into the slot. I then replaced the 4 screws on the board, put the chip's flat wire into the slot on the board, and pushed the chip down. I flipped the device over again, cleaned the screen, removed the plastic protective films from the inside of the digitizer, applied additional tape (purchased earlier to hold the phone's screen in place) to the black panel for extra security, and then pressed it down. Descent. I then attached the battery cable and the back panel. It worked great! The only thing I would advise for future installs is that after removing the plastic protectors from the digitizer, the black screen on the tablet will again become too erased. I haven't, so I have cilia under the digitizer. Luckily this is my own tablet so I'll have to live with it until I have to replace it again.
