I purchased the very first one of these Ext HDDs, a Transcend 4TB model, over a year ago, and it still functions virtually perfectly, with the exception of the fact that there was a period of time during which it could not connect via USB3.0; nevertheless, despite this, it was still viewable via USB 2.0 without any issues. However, problems were not found at that time on any other computers that had this device installed. At this very moment, there is no longer any trace of the issue at all. The operation has never been interrupted by a hangup or a bug. After that, a couple of months ago, I decided to take a chance and buy a second one because the first one has been around for more than a year and, in general, there aren't any issues with it.
- A fast rate of data transfer both to and from the device and back to the computer. On Windows 7, 8.1, and 10, you won't have any trouble maintaining a connection.
- The primary body armor appears and is experienced as having a very feeble sense of protection. It is in everyone's best interest not to drop, or he will talk to the inventor. Because the hole through which the USB cable enters also seems to be weak and I would even go so far as to say that it is loose, I never remove the wire and extra secure it to the case so that it does not swing freely. The length of the wire is not very long at all, which is one of the reasons why you feel like crying.
