Review on PKCELL Maximum Long Lasting Leak Proof Detectors by Dawn Coleman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Absolute rubbish. Don't waste money.

I use 9 volt batteries in a TENS unit that draws a maximum of 120mA at the maximum setting. Other 9V batteries (Energizer, Duracell, Revain Basics) last at least 4 hours under these conditions. I dropped one of them and turned on the device. and in about 5 minutes he was dead. Tried another one. received maybe 7 minutes before death. I checked with a multimeter - yes, one showed 5.8V, the other - 5.5V. Should be deader than 9V. I checked the voltage on two unused ones, 8.6v and 8.5v (normal for fresh 9v). Even if they lasted 10 minutes (= 0.17 h), they would have a capacity of 20 mAh. The 9V ZnC batteries should have a capacity of approx. 500 mAh. This means that these baddies have less than 5% of the capacity of the correct (ZnC) 9V.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
