I received the goods quickly, but I'm missing a thermal pad, which I don't mind too much. The product is a beautiful metal case with an easy to install system. The scope of delivery includes additional screws, the appropriate connection cable and a USB-A to USB-C converter. The speeds I got were good from both the connector and the converter. I was able to transfer a 2.6GB file in about 10-15 seconds at an average speed of over 200MB/s. This was a welcome improvement over the traditional hard drive. The controller on the device's circuit board does not seem to severely limit the transfer speed of the connected drive. The only complaint I have about the drive is that there is a small gap between the drive cage and the platter that holds it in the case. I also encountered a strange issue where Windows 10 won't let me eject the drive but your mileage may depend on it. Overall, the drive case is well made and does its job well.
