This ratchet strap idea makes a lot of sense and the strap looks and feels well made. If this belt is leather, it should be thin enough that over time it will break, tear, tear, splinter, and generally fall apart in multiple places on both the outside and inside of the belt. the inside of the belt. I've bought 3 of these belts so far and while I love the concept, I don't like the poor construction. The buckle is also pitted and seems impossible to clean. I gave this one star because the Mission Belt company needs to know that there is a serious problem with the design and quality of their belts and they need to do something about it! Another photo points to the fact that "yes it's leather" as if it meant higher quality or something, but that's where the "leather" is torn! The leather is worn in a few places making it look cheap and of poor quality. In several places the belt just broke with a huge tear. And it falls apart where the rack is on the underside of the belt.
