This generator does not have a number or model number on the unit. Bad sign. I took the generator to NAPA to have it checked because I didn't want to take it out of the car if it wasn't working. NAPA said it's good no matter how much it costs (free). I installed a generator. I started the car, idle voltage was 13.7-14.1, good. By the way, you need a device like a scanning sensor or some other device that will give you the actual voltage generated. Idiot headlights don't cut. I rode it. Within 5 minutes the voltage dropped to 12.0-12.2. This voltage will not run the car, especially when you turn on the headlights. The next morning I was driving down the interstate. At start 13.9 volts. At the exit of the neighborhood, the voltage dropped to 12.0-12.1. On the track, the tension rose again to 13.7. As we pulled off the interstate, the tension eased again. Stopped for gas. Turned off the engine and gave gas. Started again and the voltage was still 12.1. Back on the highway the voltage went back up to 13.7v. It seems the alternator is giving the correct voltage on a cold start but after 3-5 minutes the voltage drops to 12.0 when the revs are 1500-2500 ( city trip) . When the revolutions reach 3000, the tension is restored. When starting a warm engine, the correct voltage is not displayed. Manufacturer, do you have any comments before I send this back? Installing and removing this generator takes time and/or money. hp I sent the generator back. I have found a 3rd gen alternator rebuilder and the price is cheaper than those low quality Chinese alternators and cheaper than Revain remanufactured alternators. The company restored my original Denso alternator in 2 hours. i can't win
