Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality, not an outstanding product.

The very first generation of the poppy (there had already been 2 generations), which contains so many typos: 1) The globe button is permanently disabled, and the only way to get it working again is to either restart the computer or use one of the other keyboard shortcuts that have been set to the computer. Even when it is successful, the language does not always go back to how it was the first time. 2) the "brighter screen" button did not operate, and the "brighter screen" button turned off several times (the problem could only be resolved by restarting the device). 3) The performance that was promised is highly "conditional," meaning that after starting the system after a reboot, the initial launch of Word and Excel take the same amount of time as they did in the past (however once they are already operating, everything happens much more quickly). 4) When unpacking archives made in Windows, there are the same difficulties with fonts (they are unreadable) as there were before. 5) The impossibility to enable the function that would, upon closing and opening the lid, immediately take the user to the page for entering a password laptop 6) an idiotic method involving a charger (you need to aim at a narrow type-C gap, and it is best not to touch the cable while the poppy is charging - the laptop will follow the wire), even the poppy in the year 2022 had a magnet. 7) The inability of the customer support service to swiftly resolve any of the "software" issues listed above (despite having made a video, done a screen recording, sent a photo, and connected with a support agent; so far, these efforts have been fruitless).

Pros
  • 1) Style (in a world when plastic is so prevalent, metal manages to seem sophisticated and lovely). 2) Independence (obviously, there are not 18 hours in a day, but the entire working day continues with a boom) 3) It is lightweight and easy to pack (it doesn't take up much room in your backpack, and the weight isn't noticeable when you're traveling). 4) The speed at which work is completed (something became quicker, something kept the same, rather today (I don't edit graphics and videos) - this is more Apple marketing)
Cons
  • 1) Changing the input language (the globe button frequently shuts off and does not operate; the difficulty of getting used to the new button is a matter of personal preference; I preferred the command + space option). I have to relearn how to utilize the ctrl + space combination because the globe does not work. 2) Other faults in the system (when the system is still in a very raw state) 3) There is only a very slight gap between the up and down keys, and I find myself pressing both of them frequently. 4) The charger uses a type-c connector, which is both cumbersome and unsafe 5) The performance has not yet been satisfactory in comparison to what was anticipated. 6) The logo on the top of the case does not emit a glow anymore; instead, it has a mirror surface that can be marked and scratched over time.
