I used this for my son's bike restoration project. It replaced the 13-28T 7 speed. Very glad you have this option for a small ring and a bit more top speed if you need it. The second ring provides 13 T, so 11 is just an option here. I never understood why they didn't increase the sprocket range when they went from 5 to 7.8 or 9. I never felt like I had a problem with a big jump in the middle, I just always wanted more bandwidth at the edges. . This asterisk represents a small portion of this area. The old cassette was mistreated and was in poor condition. With the matching Park Tool Cassette / Rotor Retaining Ring Remover - FR-5 / FR-5GSunlite Sprocket Remover / Pedal Wrench, swapping out the old cartridge and installing the new one was a breeze. Be careful, make sure you need a cassette and not a freewheel. I made the mistake of ordering Freewheel first when I needed a cartridge. If the splines turn with the sprocket when you turn it backwards, it's a [.] cassette. With this cassette, new derailleurs and new chain, the bike is like new and shifts great.
