I spent a lot of time reading reviews to decide which pillow to buy so I waited a few weeks before posting a review to really check it out. Usage: I'm not pregnant but I have MS which causes severe back and neck pain. I have found that I use a regular body pillow and at least 4 other pillows to just lie down with no pain. Then I decided to search for the best option and I found this life saving remedy. Unpacking: When you first unpack this pillow (and after each use) it tends to flatten out a bit, which is to be expected of memory foam. Easy to fix, just add some fluff before use. I find compression works best for this. I didn't notice the smell. Positioning: You can use this in a variety of ways, from folding it up for support, rotating in any direction, rolling into a fetal position, you can even stretch out your legs and just take the bottom of the pillow with you without the top disturb. Temperature: The pillow actually stays very cool. I have not experienced overheating even though my room is cool. Size: perfect for me. I can curl up in it or stretch out comfortably. The memory foam surrounds me, keeps me in the right position and gives me great support. It takes up about half of my queen size bed but there is still room for my partner, in fact I sometimes notice him snuggling up on the opposite side. Quality: The outer case is great. Extremely soft and durable, with a secure zip for easy washing. Good amount of filler, not too much where it's too hard, but not too little so as not to be supportive. Pain Relief: I IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference the first time I used it. I lay down and got comfortable and found that I had no back pain. When I woke up I felt completely rested. I don't think I moved all night. I've had VERY minimal pain since I started using it. I didn't have the neck pain that sometimes comes with memory foam pillows. All thoughts: I'll tell you what I said to my mother. I felt like a child in the womb. I was completely absorbed and felt completely at ease. I cannot recommend this pillow enough. I wouldn't change anything about that.
