This is a well-built portable medium. The thick tubular frame is locked at the top and bottom on the long sides. This is great, in the event of an accident, the frame shouldn't collapse on your pet. It can be used with a seat belt but uses the same buckles to keep it compressed in the storage position. These woven straps and side buckles are held in place only by the seam they are sewn into. I would have preferred them to wrap around the roll cage, with no side buckles, as a strong impact could rip the straps from the seams and the wearer and pet could then become a missile in the cockpit. The materials appear to be durable. The exterior is a synthetic woven fabric similar to modern day luggage, while the interior has a vinyl coating that's easy to wash or wash. Mesh doors have double zippers, one of the zippers has a patch that locks them together and prevents escape. These doors also have durable fabric flaps secured with Velcro. Doors and flaps can be rolled up and secured with an elastic loop and button or fastened with Velcro. The large side pocket offers enough space for a drinking bottle, lunch bag and small bowls. So far I'm happy with it, it's well built and if they attach seat belt loops to the tubular frame it would be 5 stars. Hope that was helpful, thanks!
