I bought this for our week long trip to New York. This was the second one I bought after returning the first one as the color (coral) is very different from what is shown in the picture. The return was very easy and the second color of the backpack (taupe) was exactly as advertised. This backpack was great as a small carry-on that could hold my 24oz metal water bottle, jacket or sweater, phone and wallet, headphones, power bank, an extra set of glasses, a Nintendo Switch and a medium sized book. and there was still room in it. It was great for walking around the city, it was easy to put on and take off which was very useful during rush hour on the subway. We've had a lot of compliments from people on the look of the bag and rope strap. We had no problem taking it to Radio City Music Hall or the August Wilson Theater and the bag fitted nicely under the small seats. I'm deducting a star because some of the drawstring color has worn off my white shirt, but it was pretty dull and washes out. All in all a great backpack that is perfect for city strolls and travelling.
