Such a pretty wooden skirt! I looked for a similar tree skirt at some popular local stores and they were a lot more expensive for a much thinner tree skirt. It arrived quickly and in a nice bag to use for storage at the end of the season. It lay flat and was easy to place around/under the tree. There are 3 fairly strong velcro straps holding the skirt together and the edges of the skirt match the tabs nicely (the tabs are under the skirt) so you don't have a gap where the edges of the skirt meet. . The underside is white, almost like felt, and the top is black and white (true white) with buffalo plaid. I have cats that like to run around under a tree and this has been left in place. It's also a good size for my tree. I have a medium diameter 9 foot tree. (This is not a pencil tree, although I tried a pencil tree and it looked great with that too). I recommend this one.
