Review on Power Up Your High-Tech Devices With EBL Non-Rechargeable Lithium AAA Batteries - 16 Pack by Corey Slivinsky

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The jury is still out

About four months ago, I was offered a free 8 Pack of EBL 1200mAh 1.5V AAA Lithium Batteries for review via the ebay Vine Program, and I accepted.I have to be honest, I ordered these for review fully thinking they were rechargable lithium-ion batteries. I have no idea how I missed the "non-rechargable" part in the description. That said, so far, I've only used two in a constant use TV remote that is still going strong after three months, as one would expect. Clearly, not the ideal usage for these. Lithium batteries are supposed to hold a lot more energy than the same-sized alkaline batteries, making them ideal for high drain devices. These are a lot more expensive per battery than alkaline, so they would only be worth the money if they lasted a lot longer than alkalines. That said, I really can't reach a valid conclusion for this review based on my current limited usage. I'll give them four stars in the intrim. They do come in a nice case.

Pros
  • The voltage characteristics of lithium batteries outperform Ni-MH batteries
Cons
  • Consumers may forget which devices contain non-rechargeable batteries and accidentally dispose of them improperly
