I didn't take photos of my L-shaped sofa and ottoman (sorry) but they were peeling, scratching and flaking because they were old and my cat who learned to climb when she was a kid. When I moved in the new couch was over budget and it is still REALLY comfortable. So. I bought 2 large sofa covers and a chair cover for the ottoman. You saved my furniture completely. You CAN do it on your own, but the little foam stuff they give you to put between the pillows to keep the cover on is useless. As soon as someone sits on the couch for too long, or after a day or two of regular exercise on the couch, they just walk out. I tried foam tube caps but they were too brittle. I went to Walmart and bought 3 medium pool noodles. Yes. Pieces of foam for the pool. and crop them to fit and they work PERFECTLY! My stepdaughter sleeps on the couch when she comes (I told you it's convenient) and the blanket never moves! The one I bought for the ottoman was too big but I was too lazy to send it back and try again so I took some sheet straps, tightened and fastened them and everything worked fine. I ordered grey. It looks more slate blue but still good. I tried to take pictures for reference. I hope the pasta idea is useful to someone. Definitely a great buy
