Magnet is held in place with a tiny dot of glue; 2 of the 3 magnets fell out of the box with a slight jerk when I attached them to the metal. I re-glued all 3, everything is fine now. Very important. I rarely give just one star, and here I could give a 3 or 4 for the quality of the box itself, but they are actually dangerous if you naively rely on them without reinforcing the glue first. If I hadn't double checked the box would have fallen where I hid it and I would have lost the box and keys leaving me in a complete mess when I really needed the key. The bad news is that the boxes would fall out into the open for others to find. The boxes have a big KEY printed on them (why on earth?) so it looks like a sign that says "Open me, take my keys!" I'm sorry, but I'm really sorry that products are mixed together. After all, the boxes are made of plastic, not metal. How long they will last is not known. Next time I'll spend a little more and buy a metal magnet box. safer; and peace of mind (we literally locked ourselves out of the house two days ago and wish we had bought something like this sooner!).
