My boy is very worried about traveling and I was looking for the best car bed for him. This is him right after we get the bed. It fits perfectly (he's 14#) and he loves it so much I'm considering buying a second one to keep at home. I love that all the pillows can be pulled out and the body can be washed in the washing machine straight away. Construction seems good and the side pockets are a great place for poop bags, leash and treats. UPDATE: My boy still loves the bed and so do I, but feedback to the manufacturer: The fabric chosen is not durable. It is heavily worn at both strap attachment points on the back of the rear unit. The straps are well secured, but the fabric they are attached to cannot withstand shear when pulled forward. I wonder why the straps aren't sewn into the seam at the top of the back. In any case, a stronger fabric is required. I removed the cushions, ironed the patches onto the worn gap between the strap mounts and the top seam, then hand sewed the edges of the patch to the top seam and anchor straps below. I hope this lasts a long time but as I mentioned above I believe the more durable fabric would make this product excellent.
