Wore this dress to a black-tie wedding and was perfect for it. Comfortable fit, it is lined so no need for slip underneath. Pockets were a great feature. Length was just below knee, so perfect. Only negatives - the lace tends to get caught on things, so put your jewelry on after you put the dress on, and also if you have a purse with sequins, be sure not to have the two touch. Did order a size up and happy I did as the lace on sleeves would have been a little snug. When hanging in the closet, I would also hang inside out to avoid lace getting snagged on things.
