We recently moved into a new house with a small garage. Our Toyota Camry fits in one foot. Of course we were afraid of ramming the back wall of the garage. But this curb is strong, rarely moves, and then only a little. I traced the trailing edge on the ground with a black pencil and can easily slide the curb into place with a flick of my foot. I wouldn't worry about the smell mentioned by some. We left the curb out for the day and although our garage is super insulated and windowless, smell wasn't an issue.
