Review on 5/10 Pack Of Pareberry Women'S Cotton Low Cut Non-Slip Boat Liner Socks With Thick Cushion For Athletics And Casual Wear by Sandro Pierce

Revainrating 4 out of 5

better than expected

I've had the hardest time finding comfortable no-show socks that aren't "quitters." That's what I call the socks that quit staying up, ride down inside the shoe. I've also had a hard time finding no-show socks that don't cut into me with elastic. These fit the bill and are surprisingly comfortable. They seem to be thin, but are comfortably cushy. Instead of elastic around the opening, they are knit in such away to provide the elasticity you're looking for. The silicone backing is in multi-lines, not just one blob. This may be what helps them stay up AND it isn't the least bit uncomfortable. I wear a size 7.5-8M shoe. I ordered the small size and there's still a bit extra at the heel. (This does not feel like extra once the sock/foot/shoe all get settled in together.) I do believe this sock would easily accommodate a women's size 9. It came packaged nicely. Why 4-stars instead of 5?: Would like them to have been a wee bit more cushioned, a tiny bit smaller, and without a seam. It's hard to find everything I want in one sock, I know. Also - I'm only on day 2 (2nd pair) of wearing these with slip-on sneaks, and Sperry crest-vibe style sneakers. They haven't been through the laundry yet. I just may bump up the rating.

Pros
  • Exactly as advertised. Little more cushion than most like it. Very happy.
Cons
  • Too expensive for the quality
