You get what you pay for

I tried this drive but unfortunately it ended up burning me return end date. The drive was great while it was working, but it died shortly after installing it on an old Lenovo g570 laptop. I thought it might be a laptop and tried reading the drive to pull the backup just in case the backup fails every time a message pops up from the mini partition wizard describing indexing for the following device failed. Sometimes I can read the drive but can't write to it and reading randomly fails. I managed to intercept it and get most of the profile data when installing Windows, but the drive was removed. What was unclear to me was the type of flash on this drive so I'll stick with Silicon Power from now on, same approximate price but you get an SSD-M management tool and I have a feeling they've only been sold dozens of times are more reliable than Addlink. Trust me, save yourself the hassle and go with silicon, or just spend a little more and go for the Critical or Samsung Evo as both are in a very affordable price range

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Minor repairability
