Being a touch typist, I missed the ease of typing on the iPad keyboard. So when I invested in the 5th generation iPad, I decided to explore the idea of a keyboard. I didn't have much hope that I would be happy with this because I'm very, VERY picky when it comes to keyboard feel. As a typist, I've always chosen typewriters—yes, typewriters—and now computer keyboards—by feel. We have to match or it's over. If it doesn't have that special something I'm always looking for, I'll dismiss the keyboard - or moan and whine until they're replaced. I knew right away that this match was practically made in heaven. First, it's not one of those flat silicon things pretending to be a keyboard. It has rebound in step with the scissor spring of the keys. This was very important to me when I decided to try it and I read the reviews as carefully as I could to see what I can say about the feel of the keyboard. The reality doesn't disappoint as I absolutely LOVE this keyboard. I'm not going to pretend I've learned everything because right now I'm just trying to get along with feeling and speed. He goes through these points beautifully. Connecting via Bluetooth was almost a breeze. I was good to go as soon as I fully charged it and started the connection process. As for other browsers that complain about disconnecting if left on for too long, I don't plan on using them in stop and start modes. My main focus is word processing and I have absolutely no complaints about being turned off yet. Time will tell, but I'll provide a workaround if that's going to be a problem. I will try to anticipate long delays in usage. For about $20 all I can ask is what was missing from my last four pills? I should have done this earlier and of course I would start here with Arteck, because that's what I really want. Happy camper! Have fun playing the keyboard!
