We buy so many sneakers in a month due to heavy use from my 6 year old and the dog eating my sneakers! They are well made and look and feel made of durable fabric. They are lightweight so he can play or run comfortably. Don't think of them as running shoes, think of them as athletic shoes! Easy to clean (I just toss them in a bag in the washing machine and let them air dry). It is very easy to put on and take off. Velcro is durable. The color combination is really nice.
