I got this bag in preparation for a few short trips I had coming up. It's extremely cute, at least as attractive in person as it is in the picture. As others have mentioned, this is a canvas-style bag that collapses when it's not full. I think it looks just fine when it's not full, but something to be aware of.This bag is a great size for a 1-3 day trip, and I especially love the separate shoe compartment at the bottom. I've always disliked packing my shoes in with all of my clothes, and now I don't have to! I took this bag as my personal item on a flight, and there are a few things I learned about it:If you pack this bag as full as it can possibly get, it won't really fit underneath the seat in front of you. If you leave it somewhat empty (about the same amount as the capacity for the separate shoe compartment) then you should be able to fit it under the seat just fine. I love the sleeve in the back that allows you to fit this over the handle of a suitcase, since this makes it much easier to get through the airport. However, I was forced to check my carry-on bag at the gate of one plane, meaning I had to carry this bag through my arrival airport until I reached baggage claim. It was definitely a bit awkward and heavy to carry for a long distance, since I had packed it as full as it could get. As long as you're not making a 15-20 minute trek through an airport while pushing a stroller, though, you should be just fine carrying this with it full.Others have complained of a strong smell upon receiving this bag, but I didn't notice much. I did leave it open and sitting out for a few days after getting it, just in case, and any minor smell was completely gone after that. Overall this is a great weekend bag, super cute, and with lots of space. We'll see how it holds up after more extended use, but no complaints on quality so far!
