I have two preschool girls. They like to play with it outside. We've had this for a few years now. Here are a few comments I made on it in general: 1 Overall it is in very good condition but I take good care of it. After use, it is emptied and placed in the garage overnight and in winter.2. My youngest was able to play with her at around 6 or 7 months as soon as she could stand up. The ability to splash her hands in water and grab toys was great for her at that age. As soon as they could grasp (1.5 to 2 years old), they liked to throw balls down the middle tube.3. It was pretty easy to assemble. It took a little over 15 minutes or so. But it doesn't disassemble easily and doesn't collapse or anything for storage.4. My 4 year old girls still enjoy playing with it just to squirt and move balls or to simulate mixing and cooking etc. It's also fun to use for creative activities like experimenting with ice cubes and mixing colored water use.5. I wish the floor didn't have that texture because when it gets muddy it means I have to work around any bumps when cleaning. In general, however, it is quite easy to clean.6. Most of the balls that come with it are junk. They squirt so watch out for mold growth. I feel like it was an unnecessary feature. Regardless, some of them are really stiff and very difficult to squeeze (even for me) to fill while others compress easily. These differences really confused and annoyed my kids. A crank on the side that holds balls or, if turned hard enough, spouts water, is fun and attractive to children. The piece that looks like an inverted water wheel doesn't seem to do much, and I felt it could have been turned into a more useful or creative feature. 8. The center tube is big enough for balls to fall off, but not much wider. I've had girls throw random things (rocks, pet spray, etc.) and got stuck a few times. With my small hands and hard work, I could get it all back. You can unscrew it to open it, but if something gets stuck it's not so easy to get to the middle of the tube. For the price you can't ask for more. All in all we got ten times our money. I liked it so much that I bought it as a gift for others. Will definitely buy all of these again. Beware, I've noticed it's cheaper on other sites ($35), but sometimes Amazon lowers the price too.10. Some water leaks from the center, but water flows everywhere when kids are playing, so I didn't find it a big deal. 11. My kids grabbed the center tube and pulled to reach up. It's not broken or cracked, but I could see that there could be a problem if a kid was really rough on it. I have included photos of my 7 month old and 18 month old baby next to him for size comparison.
