There are mites in this sand!
Do not buy if you don't want tick infestation. 2 days after opening there were black bugs in the sand. Another reviewer also complained about flaws in her sand, so I guess it's not just me. The disgusting thing is that when I crushed the bugs, they exploded in blood! I googled the bugs and found that they really are ticks. What the hell? So they either fed on my daughter or my dog or both! Now I have to treat my dog for ticks and will probably have to call an exterminator to clean up the rest of the infestation! It's just terribly disgusting.
