The pump was installed to support a 5 foot pebble well. When the pump was set to maximum flow, the water barely came to the surface. If anyone tried to lift water 7.2 feet with this pump, I am sure you would be very disappointed. Even if you have tried using it for small outdoor pools, I am convinced that this pump will have mechanical problems to achieve anywhere near satisfactory results. Not even close to the advertised specs. Update: The seller responded quickly and refunded the item in full.
