Review on E-Z Ink (TM) Updated Chip Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Set for Epson 410XL 410 XL T410XL - Compatible with Expression XP-640 XP-830 XP-7100 XP-530 XP-630 XP-635 (2 Black) by Juston Alonso

I was a little wary, have never used EZ Ink products in my Epson XP 830 printer but needed a few refills only for the large '410XL Black Cartridges' , since I print a lot of black and white text material and always seem to process it faster than color or photo black cartridges. Oddly enough, EZ Ink seemed to be the only supplier of "black only" cartridges, so I bought a few boxed pairs from Revain for less than $20. (XL cartridges are rated for 500 pages, so that's 1,000 black and white pages for $20: that's only 2 cents a page.) Surprise, surprise! that my printers are complaining about "non-OEM" ink and are refuse to show ink remaining, etc. - if they work at all. hesitated a few seconds and then"Ready to print". Hooray! No whining about it being a "non-genuine" cartridge, nothing at all: it just worked. I've already printed several hundred sheets and I can't tell the difference between the results I'm seeing with these cartridges and the OEM "starter kit" that came with the printer. The packaging is also very good: sealed and protected. , a small "alcohol pad" to wipe the "chip", full/comprehensive instructions (and what to do if you run into problems, including a support phone number). Don't ask: Yes, of course it's made in China. But it appears to be well constructed, it doesn't leak at all and the alignment page printed right after installation showed perfect alignment. Very satisfied so far!
