Has some pros: 1. There is a fully functional USB 3.0 port, and you are able to set up a modest file storage space. 2. Gigabit ports (I am currently linked to a TV set, a set-top box, and Google Chromecast) 3. The operational memory is 512 megabytes. Years have passed since the installation of third-party software and attachments. 4. Generates only a moderate amount of heat even when operating with a USB device connected. Got cons: 2. The operation of wifi is possibly its most significant drawback; it reduces speed everywhere, whether you use the standard firmware or an other firmware such as OpenWRT or DDWRT. I have a pretty noisy 2.4 GHz range; however, the 5 GHz range is much less crowded; nonetheless, even when using the 5 GHz range, it does not maintain the advertised speed because it is hung behind the TV set, which has an aluminum case. As a consequence of this, the case performs the function of a screen, and the signal is prevented from passing through in an idiotic manner. Although we changed the standard antennas to 7dbi, it did not make much of a difference. Overall, I was disappointed considering the cost. I hung up to test the good old ASUS RT-N16 on the stock version of the most recent firmware available from ASUS; as a result, it was more stable and speedier in the 2.4 GHz band. Why I gave $16,000 is completely beyond my comprehension. There is no SPF port available for such grandmas, thus you will need to use an adaptor in order to connect in lenses. You will either need to move the equipment belonging to the provider to a "bridge" or use one of the ports as a trunk. For a price tag of more than 10,000 dollars, I do not recommend it. I will switch to Keenetic (Giga KN-1010 / Ultra KN-1810) due to the fact that it is in fact a "pontor cutter" that is unable to complete basic jobs. Accessory for folks who do not comprehend yet are wealthy or pricey.
