I bought a couple of these after trying them out as I always need to stock up. They're great for ponytails that won't hurt, damage your hair, or slip out no matter how thick your hair is. They also look better and more sophisticated than the usual hair ties that are so prevalent. I've been using them for years and have been lucky with the durability. I only broke one and it was my fault for pushing the mechanism too hard.
