I used to have philips shp 895 - good headphones for their price. I listened to them from a computer on a creative zxr audio card. The sound of audio equipment is different from philips. Philips were open and it seemed to me that they were better for audiophile styles such as acoustics, live music, jazz, etc. Audio equipment also plays brighter. Although if you don't use the equalizer - that those that others play are not bright (but I'm not an audiophile - I want the feeling of a concert in my head). But the audio equipment is bassist. But what is especially noticeable is that if you pile on the bass, then the audio equipment responds to it perfectly, knocks down so that you can even hear 30 Hz. The earphones begin to vibrate in the ears. On a heavy one, they can give out a beautiful meaty bottom and jjj bass guitar :) In general, for heavy, dubstep, rap, and other things like that, excellent ears. However, if you do not pile on anything, calm styles also play quite pleasantly. The volume is not bad, if it is in the recording. Perhaps there are cheaper headphones for my tastes, but I really liked these. The main thing for me is to provide a dense and not booming bottom. They can do this - bass, even if they pile on - not smeared, tightly. A pleasant feeling. And they can play very loudly. In short, whoever loves universal headphones with a claim to sound quality, but at the same time able to pile on and tear off his head - take a closer look at them. There are a lot of negative reviews on YouTube from sound engineers. But you need to understand that they have a different hearing and they evaluate according to their own criteria, according to which, on the contrary, YOU may not like the headphones they love.
