The colors are perfect as you can see in the picture! The 8-year-old's long, skinny legs, also known as fins, fit perfectly into the size 1 she normally wears.
However, this only holds because there is slightly less width between the big toe and the tip of the shoe than the width of the little toe. But they fit this picky girl well enough that she didn't complain.
