This is a genuine GM product. The blades and pins fit perfectly with the new/old keychain. Strattec delivered early and I didn't have to pay shipping (great). Even if you only need one blade, I highly recommend buying several. Competitors were charging $10 for a blade and I got five for about $30. Make sure you take it to a locksmith with the right equipment and knowledge. My first key was broken by a mobile locksmith without the proper equipment and knowledge.
