Things get a little springy when you lean on the keyboard tray (or gain a lot of weight), especially when it's fully extended, but for for the price it seems solidly made (it's not a $600 Ergotron). The instructions are a bit cryptic, but assembly went pretty smoothly. However, the design - especially the keyboard lever - leaves a lot to be desired. Some of my complaints are really unique to the way I try to use it - for example it's really designed to have a stand behind a monitor. Keyboard and doesn't work as well when tilted sideways (the monitor doesn't rotate 90° and the keyboard tray rises steeply at the bottom of its travel). I was also hoping that the keyboard arm would be able to overcome obstacles (the end of the CNC router), which is also impossible. A more common issue, however, is that the keyboard tray's lowest possible setting is about 6 inches above any surface the stand is attached to - the hand can't reach over/under the edge of the desk for level typing - so requires either a low table, a high chair, or, well, standing, which goes against the sit-stand principle. Another thing that the manuals don't really cover very well is arm tension adjustment. If you look at the arm base of the monitor or the center of the keyboard lever, you will find a silver adjustment screw at the top. It actually consists of two parts: On the top there is a locking screw - if necessary you can loosen (or remove) this with a slotted screwdriver. Pull out a larger hex wrench to loosen or tighten the lever tension adjustment screw. Kwise decreases the voltage while increasing it counter-clockwise. Be careful - go too far and a hand will pop out and pin you to your face. Don't ask me how I know that. Once you've got everything set up the way you want it, you can tighten the set screw to keep it from loosening over time.
