Literally perfect for a lamp in a vivarium. My attachment was about 4.5 inches wide. They snapped at him like he was literally meant to be perfect for him. I ordered 2 and installed on 2 Vivs. Pressure to press on it, so I took it off, gently tugged it outwards by the edges, and the second time it snapped into place a little easier. I was worried like F it wouldn't fit. NGL. I'm a happy customer. The feathers were lightly covered in rusty dust, but I used baking soda and degreasing soap and cleaned them to 100% luster like new in just a few minutes. I put my thermometer under the wire. Mesh with fine wire and I'm good to go. I hope this review helps you with your purchase decision. I am a happy buyer as this is not like other alternatives on Amazon or my local reptile and pet store. Shops could supply them even if they could supply the tanks they are intended for.
